The 四直五橫 (4V5H), which we call “Four Vertical and Five Horizontal,” is one of the most powerful and versatile formations in our Tin Yat Lineage. It is more than just a symbol – it is a complete system of Taoist magic that can be used for protection, blocking, sealing, and even destroying evil forces during dangerous times such as the Ghost Month.
In this article, you will learn how the 4V5H works, how disciples and non-disciples can use it, and why it is such an essential magic to keep yourself and your loved ones safe. This teaching is being specially released to everyone as part of our Ghost Month Self-Defense Series.
What is 四直五橫 (4V5H)?
The 4V5H symbol is built from four vertical lines and five horizontal lines. On the surface, it looks simple, but the magic forms a powerful barrier that can:

It is like catching a mosquito in a jar and then creating pressure inside until it bursts. That is the true power of the 4V5H.
Who Can Use 4V5H?
For Disciples in the AC Group
If you are already signed up and in our ACM (Ancestral Court) group, you can use your HS-B as the connection to the power source. This allows you to run the 4V5H magic directly and use it freely.
For Disciples Outside AC or Non-Disciples
If you are not in the AC group or are not ordained yet, you can still use the 4V5H through what we call “Borrowed Magic.”
To do this, you will need to purchase a God Installing FU. Once you order, we will FLY the FU to you for free. Just email me at tinjee@chiinnature.com with your photo and full name, and I will personally do the fly FU for you (free of charge).
This installs a God for you to use for 49 days. During this period, you can call on the God to perform the 4V5H magic as many times as you want. It is like borrowing power from the lineage.
If you don’t want limits, then the best way is to get ordained and join our AC learning group, which gives you unlimited access to this magic and much more.

Here are the important spells connected to 4V5H. All of them use the same foundation, but with different endings to change how the magic works.

This is the master spell that works like a shortcut for all other forms. Learn this first. You can use this one in replacement for ALL the others (add 13 loops over it if need)

5. 13 Loop Spell – All-Day Seal
To make the magic last the whole day instead of one-time use, add the 13 Loop Spell after the Big Spell.

Why So Many Spells
For cultivation, you can practice the long spells and use them more. The more you use the long spell the more powerful the specific magic gets. However, the master spell (short one) is there for making things easier, so in case you need the magic to work, you don't need to have all the long ones memorized first. It is fine to use the short one and it will work well too. The long spell is for those who are more advanced and want to really refine their powers more.

Everyday Use of 4V5H

Before going out: Do the Protection Spell once on yourself.

At home: Use the Sealing Spell on doors and windows.

When attacked or sensing danger: Deploy the Busting Spell to trap and destroy.

For loved ones: Do the seal into a pendant, jacket, or item they carry, so they are protected even if they don’t know magic.
Remember: Ghost Month is dangerous. Evil forces roam around looking for weak targets. Stay vigilant, do not underestimate them, or you may get sick, lose luck, or face troubles in family and career. The 4V5H is your shield and weapon at the same time.
The 4V5H Stamp Seal – Shortcut for Sealing Magic
The 4V5H Stamp Seal is a wooden stamp designed to let disciples “chick” the power into it, turning it into a shortcut tool for sealing and protection. Once empowered, the stamp can be used on doors, windows, clothing, or even carried items to block evils, shield against threats, and lock down spaces instantly.
For disciples in the AC group, you can activate this tool by “chicking” it with AC power yourself, and then using the 4V5H Master Spell with the ending word “CHICK” (Chia!). After that, simply apply the stamp onto the object, and the magic will deploy right away.
This tool is not for outsiders or non-AC disciples.
Conclusion
