Ghost Month is here again — the time when wandering ghosts, evil gods, and harmful spirits roam around the human world. Many people may feel disturbances in their homes without knowing why. In our lineage, we teach a special method to check the status of your house during Ghost Month. With this method, you can discover whether your home has threats and apply remedies to secure your space with the help of Saam Law Jo Si (三羅祖師).
This is not just superstition. Ghost Month is real, and those who ignore it often find themselves drained, unlucky, or even haunted. By learning to check and protect your home, you are taking spiritual safety seriously.
Why Checking Your House Matters in Ghost Month
During Ghost Month, the gates of the other realms are open. Ghosts wander, looking for food, energy, or a chance to invade a house. Evil gods and malicious spirits also take advantage of this time. If your house is unguarded, you may notice:

Bad luck and sudden misfortunes

Family members falling sick or feeling heavy

Strange noises, smells, or shadows in the house

Restless dreams or insomnia
Instead of guessing, our lineage provides a reliable divination method to directly ask the gods if your house is safe.
Step 1. Prepare Your Divination Tool
If you are not a disciple, you must first purchase a Divination FU and have it flown to your divination tool.
You can use:

3 coins

A pair of divination cups (link to buy)
⚠️ Once your FU is flown in, your tool becomes sacred for divination only.

Do not play with it or use it for fun.

Do not mix it with other religions’ items.

Do not keep the coins in your wallet.

Store it in its own container.

👉 Note: Once activated, your tool will work for about 3 months. After that, it returns to normal and you must renew it with a new FU. If you become ordained, you can create your own magic tools with unlimited use.
Step 2. Call Saam Law Jo Si
Close your eyes, hold your tool, and ask:
“Saam Law Jo Si, are you here and ready to div?”

If you get Yang (good) or ST (okay) → proceed.

If you get Yin (bad) → try again.
-
If you get 3 Yin in a row → the God is busy or not answering, try again later.
Step 3. Learn the Results
Divination Cups:

2 up = Yang = Good
-
2 down = Yin = Bad
-
1 up 1 down = ST = Okay (toss one again to see if it leans Yang or Yin)
3 Coins:
-
Head = O (Yang)
-
Tail = X (Yin)
Results:
-
XXX = ST leaning Yang (Okay Good)
-
OOO = ST leaning Yin (Okay Not So Good)
-
OOX or XOO = Yang (Good)
-
XXO or OXX = Yin (Bad)
Step 4. Ask About Your House
Pray:
“Please help me check the house for threats and see if there is any evil beings around.”
Do 3 tosses:

First toss = General scan, anything nearby.
-
Second toss = Deeper check, anything hiding.
-
Third toss = Is it a real problem or not.
-
If the last toss is not Yin, you are safe.
-
If the last toss is Yin (XXO / OXX, or 2 down with cups) → a threat is detected.
Step 5. Locate the Problem Area
Draw a 3x3 grid of your house.

North is at the bottom.
-
Start tossing from the bottom right = NW, then bottom center = N, bottom left = NE, and continue clockwise.
For each palace, toss once:

If it shows Yin (XXO / OXX, or 2 down with cups) → that direction has the threat.
This helps you identify where in your house the spirit is coming from.
Step 6. Apply Remedies
Once you find the location, choose one remedy and test:

Tape a Ghost Month Protection FU at that spot.

Burn the FU there (fold vertical, light from the bottom) and send the God to exorcise.

Burn a Cleansing or Exorcism FU, make FU water, and splash it in that direction.
👉 Do not use all remedies at once. Start with one, then re-check.
Step 7. Confirm the Result
After applying a remedy, divinate again:
“Please check the status of this place.”

If Yang or ST → Cleared.

If Yin → Apply another remedy or ask Jee Sifu for advanced help.
