Progress: Lesson 1 / 10
Knowing the Tao
Taoism is a religion category, but every Taoist sect is a complete system of its own. Our Tao is called Saam Law Tin Si Tao 三羅天師道. When you ordain, you become a Saam Law Taoist following this specific path.
Saam Law means three systems, and it refers to the primordial world system of nature — the most ancient and original world before anything here existed. The three systems are:
Tin Law 天羅
Dei Law 地羅
Daai Law 大羅
Together, they form the world we call Daai Law Tin 大羅天 (DLT). This is the source where our transmissions come from. Some may call it the “primordial world,” the world before our world began.
The term Tin Si 天師 in our lineage refers to the masters from the DLT side who pass down the system to us. In our sect, there are three leaders who carry these transmissions and guide the lineage:
Chief of Sect 掌門 – Gum Si Juen 金師尊
Oversees communication with the DLT side, sending feedback and receiving directions.
Chief of Teaching 掌教 – Jee Si Juen 紫師尊
Responsible for the teachings, knowledge, and all the content of the sect.
Chief of Management 掌治 – Beh Si Juen 啤師尊
Responsible for managing people and the post-heaven affairs of the sect.
When you ordain, you are learning something that does not come from this world. It does not come from unearthed relics, old books, or archaeological findings. You are learning from a living sect that grows non-stop because of the active transmission between the source and us. That is why our Tao is unique. We only teach what is passed down to us directly, and we keep our content pure without mixing anything from outside.
By becoming a Taoist here, you will learn and witness the power of this extraordinary path — a path handed down from a divine world that existed before ours, yet stays closely connected to you today.
In our sect, Daai Law Tin 大羅天 represents the primordial world, our source of wisdom, power, and guidance. Imagine this stunning visualization: our current world is just a tiny speck within the Dei Law zone of this vast system! Ever wonder why we're called Saam Law Taoists? It's because of the Saam Law system within Daai Law Tin. This structure is built upon three fundamental "laws" or systems: Tin Law, Dei Law, and Daai Law.
1. Daai Law (Great System): Everything originates here, in a realm of the most original, complete beings – the divines.
2. Dei Law (Ground System): This is where elements from the Daai Law world go after their cycle ends. Think of it like a processor, breaking down and giving rise to various forms of life, including our human world at its base.
3. Tin Law (Sky System): After processing in Dei Law, elements exit through a 'hell' gate and are pulled back up to the Tin Law zone. Here, they're recycled, eventually leading to new life or elements in the Daai Law world. Tin Law also acts as a master server, holding the 'data' of all creation.
These three systems combined – Tin, Dei, and Daai Law – are known as Saam Law, or the Three-System, the foundation of our Tao.
We maintain a direct connection with the divines residing in Daai Law, receiving transmissions and teachings from them. They've authorized us to share these powers and knowledge. They operate from the Sun Ting 神庭 or 'God’s Court', our highest court. The divines who liaise between our world and theirs are known as the Celestial Masters/Tin Si 天師 in our sect.
Understanding how we connected with these higher-dimensional beings might seem complex. There's a fascinating history behind it, which you can explore in our eBooks for a more in-depth look at our lineage's story.
