If you can afford ordaining and already feel this Tao is right for you, ordaining is the proper door. Initiation is mainly for people who sincerely want to enter the sect first but cannot afford ordaining yet. You can ordain later when you are ready.

Can I add extra offering?

Yes. The $10 symbolic offering is required for initiation. Extra offering is optional and can be added at your own pace.
