Progress: Lesson 1 / 10
Your Identity & Ordain Path
When you are initiated, you become a disciple of the sect. You have worshipped the master, which means you have put your faith into the master who will guide and teach you. You are no longer a “customer” or “client.” A disciple must believe the master wholeheartedly without doubt. That is what “worshipping the master” means.
A disciple who loses faith in their master breaks the relationship with the sect. Their affinity will also fade sooner or later. As the old Chinese saying goes: 一日為師,終生為父 — “One day he is your master, he is like your father for the rest of your life.” This is very different from the modern business teaching model.
In the business world, the teacher–student bond only exists because of money. You pay, so you are a student. You stop paying, you are nobody. There is no heart, no real relationship. We do not follow that style here. We only accept disciples, and we treat disciples like disciples — not students passing through a classroom.
Many Taoism groups today run like schools. They charge for “courses,” “workshops,” and “summer classes.” When the course ends, the relationship ends. No one cares what you do next. Our sect is not like that.
If you are in the sect and you don’t want to believe the master’s teachings or guidance, you are free to withdraw anytime. If your heart is not here, you don’t belong here. This is also why our initiation offering is only $10. It gives people a chance to try without hurting themselves if they realize this path is not for them.
But if you decide to stay, then you are signing up for a very old school experience.
Jee Sifu is a traditional-style master. When he says he is your master, he means it. You will be disciplined, corrected, tested, and brought up with heart. If strict, real teachings are not for you, then this path won’t fit you.
Jee Sifu is not just a teacher — he is like a father who cares about your life, your future, your safety, and your success. When disciples face danger, he gets up at 3am and fights for them. This is real. In this lineage you will hear these stories often.
Initiation means putting 100% faith into your master and the sect. Believe without needing proof. Put your heart in, so the Tao can return to you with the same heart.
You and Jee Sifu don’t know each other deeply yet, but because you give 100% faith, he also gives 100% back — all he has, all he can, with no holding back.
When you ordain, you become connected to the Tao, the religion, and you officially become a Taoist disciple. Now your 100% faith goes to the Tao and the gods we worship.
Being a Taoist means you must be pure. Only one religion. Only one path. No mixing. Not even 1%. Only Saam Law Taoism.
First of all, talk and act like a Taoist. Do not bring in words or ideas from other paths — chakras, mudras, mantras, Bible quotes, Reiki terms, or any other spiritual systems. Even other Qi Gong or Taoism sects are not to be mixed in. If it is not Saam Law, it is not part of us.
If you have a problem with that, then do not ordain. And if someone ordains but cannot stay pure, they will drift away very soon.
When people ask what religion you believe in, proudly say: Taoism. They don’t need to know the deep details of Saam Law Taoism vs other sects. Keep it simple. Don’t lecture strangers.
Remember, all Taoist sects fall under the same “Taoism” name in public eyes. If you bash other sects openly, it makes all Taoists look bad. Even if our teachings differ, we should still keep the Taoism name clean and positive for the general public.
If someone wants to know more, point them to the website or talk deeper only when they are ready. Most people really just need a short and simple answer.
Taoism means being faithful to the Tao that we connect to. We go into the Tao; the Tao does not come onto us like a jacket. Think of the Tao as a village — when you enter the village, you must blend in and become part of it. You adjust yourself to the Tao, not the other way around.
The more aligned you are with the Tao, the better your path will be.
